Elaghmore acquires large-format giant Gardners

UK private equity fund Elaghmore has acquired large-format visual displays specialist Gardners, with the aim of investing into the business in order to expand its reach into new markets.

Elaghmore will now commit significant investment to enhance production capacity at Gardners using various new technologies. Gardners will operate autonomously, but work closely with Elaghmore-owned Kesslers.

As per the terms of the acquisition agreement, the Gardners management team will remain in place and continue to oversee operations at the large-format firm. The combined business will boast a workforce of more than 250 employees and an annual sales total of £40m.

“Gardners is a very exciting business which serves an impressive blue-chip customer base,” Elaghmore partner, Greg Koral, comments.
