Midshire above par on charity golf day

National managed print service provider Midshire has praised the success of its inaugural charity golf day, revealing that the event helped to raise £6,000.

Funds generated from the May event at Sale Golf Club will now be split equally between local NK Theatre Arts and the British Heart Foundation.

Some 60 suppliers, customers and associates were in attendance, including delegates from RISO, PEAC Finance, NK Electrical, Access Hire & Finance, Cragg & Roberts, Clos-o-mat, and Enterprise Financial Services and Connect IT Solutions.

In addition to a round of golf, those in attendance also took part in a raffle, with prizes including an interactive screen worth £2,500, a £160 bottle of champagne, a voucher for a Michelin starred restaurant and box tickets for a football match.

After 18 holes we were treated to a BBQ, a raffle with some incredible prizes, and a performance from Dominic Collins, a local musician and comedian

Stuart Carruthers, IT sales manager at Midshire, who played a key in organising the event, says: “Everyone gathered at the club for a bit of a networking breakfast, we teed off at 11am and played until 4pm so there was a long day of golf in the sun.
