Tripleplay brightens up with Sky
Digital signage software provider Tripleplay has revealed that its platform now offers compatibility for the Sky Bright Box.
Sky Bright Box is the technology behind Sky Select, which delivers high definition entertainment across hotels from one centralised HD system, ensuring end-to-end encryption for Sky’s television content for its IPTV and Interactive IPTV Portal solution.
Dr. Peter Martin, chief technical officer at Tripleplay, says the company has built its platform based on content security and encryption, understanding both the concerns and urgency to a content rights owner.
“This latest integration allows us to deliver fully encrypted Sky broadcast content to our Interactive IPTV Portal solution, satisfying our clients and ensuring our technology partners have additional peace of mind,” he says.
Andy Kydd, head of product at Sky Business, adds: “Working with key industry platforms such as Tripleplay has become integral to ensure we give as many customers as possible access to our premium, high definition content.
“Ensuring access, choice and security is of paramount importance to us, so we’re delighted that Tripleplay clients will now benefit from this development.”
