To infinity and beyond with AXYZ
CNC routing and cutting machines provider AXYZ Automation Group has unveiled AXYZ Infinite, the first of a planned series of new product innovations.
AXYZ says the new multi-purpose CNC router builds on the legacy of previous AXYZ machines, with a new design and various optional machine enhancements.
Key features of the AXYZ Infinite include a heavy-duty solid steel frame, which the manufacturer says will accommodate more vigorous machine operation, as well as a new carriage design to allow easier access for servicing.
The AXYZ Infinite can be configured with a choice of single, dual or triple routing and cutting heads, with a processing bed size measuring in at 3,251mm wide by 15.24m long.
Users will also benefit from a newly designed dust extraction system, which the manufacturers says radically reduces clogging of the router, in addition to an improved misting system that enables more efficient machine cooling and lubricating functions.
The AXYZ Infinite can also be supplied with the latest optional VCarve Pro and Aspire design and production software programs for 2D and more complex 3D applications.
Other optional machine enhancements include the AXYZ Automatic Tool Change system that provides up to 33 tool-change stations for work involving multiple tools, as well as the AXYZ Zone Management facility and the latest A2MC machine controller with the integrated AXYZ Vision System.
