Major DOOH deal signed for Africa and Asia

A major digital out-of-home (OOH) contract will see a range of bespoke multipurpose displays installed inside shopping centres across Africa and Asia.

Trueform Digital has signed the deal with OOH advertising firm, Pikasso, to build, supply and support the range of displays.

Displays incorporate CCTV cameras, digital signage analytics and interactivity using Trueform’s ‘Fusion’ smart technology thermal management engines with remote monitoring, diagnostic and repair capabilities.

It was Trueform’s reputation for innovative design, quality of product and aftersales support that attracted Pikasso to the firm, which will provide a full end-to-end digital display solution and service.

“We are delighted to be providing Pikasso with the very best DOOH digital display technology,” says Jonathan Morley, chief executive officer of Trueform Digital.

This contract provides a further high-quality showcase of Trueform’s capabilities within the digital retail signage market

“This contract provides a further high-quality showcase of Trueform’s capabilities within the digital retail signage market and another huge endorsement of our expertise within the DOOH sector,” Morley adds.

The contract covers Pikasso’s leading locations, including Levant (Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq) and North and West Africa (Algeria, Tunisia, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Mali).

In the first phase of the contract, Trueform has installed over 25 75” digital six-sheet advertising signs in two retail parks in the Ivory Coast (Cap Sud and Cosmos Yopougon), with a further rollout at locations in Algeria and Armenia ongoing.

The contract follows Trueform’s recent installation of more than 250 displays at shopping centre Westfields in London.
