Ensuring the perfect finish for supercars

One of Drytac’s speciality products has been described as “well worth the investment” following five successful years of use.

Lloyds Autobody, a specialist in body and paintwork repairs for premium and luxury cars, uses Drytac’s Spray Booth Liner in its two sites, across four bays.

Due to its work on luxury cars such as Rolls-Royce, Bentley and Jaguar Land Rover, the business needs a product that can ensure high-quality work will be completed.

The liner’s white PET carrier film has a double-sided adhesive, with a low-tack side that adheres to spray booth wall panels – designed to peel off easily in one piece.

We’re open six days a week, with bays full every day with premium cars

A high-tack side faces towards the booth and is designed to capture overspray and dust particles. This shields the spray booths from harmful contaminants and reduces static electricity.

The firm uses the product so regularly, it is replaced every three months. “We’re open six days a week, with bays full every day with premium cars,” explains Andrew Johnson, project manager at Lloyds Autobody.

“The Drytac Spray Booth Liner is a tried and tested product that is well worth the investment. It’s easy to remove and replace – you can just take it off and change it, protecting what’s underneath.”

As well as creating unique adhesive products tailored to customer specifications, Drytac creates window, wall and floor graphic media, laminating films and mounting adhesives, tapes, industrial adhesives and durable labels.
