30 years of bespoke engraving

Brunel Engraving is celebrating 30 years of providing bespoke engraving services to its national and international customers.

Founded in 1989 by Martyn Wright, Brunel Engraving initially offered purely engraving services, but through investment in new equipment and a focus on developing a highly skilled workforce, the firm has since grown to add printing and etching to its services.

Brunel Engraving was the first engraving business in Europe to take delivery of an Epilog G2 Galvo Laser System in June 2017. Most recently, the firm’s production facility in Clevedon, North Somerset, underwent an extensive refit and expansion.

“Technology has been a key factor in Brunel’s sustained success,” says Martyn Wright. “Innovation and investment in state-of-the-art equipment has enabled us to significantly increase our output over the years.”

Having invested in a wide-format sublimation printer, flatbed UV printer and the latest computer controlled rotary and laser engraving machines, the firm is able to offer a broad range of services including laser engraving, chemical etching, anodic print, dye sublimation print, flatbed UV print and wide-format UV print.

Wright continues: “This is important for sign-makers as although there will always be a place for traditional engraving, demand is growing for more complicated signs and name plates with an increased use of colour and therefore a need for print and etched plaques.”

In recognition of its professionalism and ability to handle a wide variety of engraving specifications for trade, retail and industrial and commercial customer, Brunel Engraving achieved ISO 19001 2015 accreditation in 2018.

“We have now been in the engraving business for 30 years. We are very proud to have achieved this landmark. Customer satisfaction has always been our first priority and we would like to thank all of our customers for their support over the years. We will continue to strive to provide excellence in service now and into the future,” concludes Wright.
