Dress to impress with Dichroic

Doro Tape has opened up about the success of its Dichroic colour change films, highlighting how the product has been used in a wide range of applications.

Liberty of London used Doro Tape’s Aurora and Plasma Dichroic films as part of a display of ladies’ fashion outfits in their main clothing department, to coincide with London Fashion Week 2018.

Meanwhile, Topshop’s Oxford Street store in London opted to apply the Aurora film in a crinkled style as part of an innovative retail display, covering the back wall of the store to create a stunning display.

Elsewhere, the Whitechapel Gallery in London used the films as in an exhibition entitled ‘Surreal Science: Loudon Collection with Salvatore Arancio’. Here, the gallery used Doro’s transparent Corona film to front or back up several displays.

The displays were a selection of objects from George Loudon’s collection of life science teaching aids, placed in juxtaposition with new work by visual artist Salvatore Arancio.

Doro Tape praised the project, saying: “The Surreal Science exhibition showed the Loudon collection in a new light, revealing the visual power of both the objects and Arancio’s work, enhanced by the use of Doro Tape’s Dichroic film.”
