A look ahead to upcoming ISE 2019

On the first week of February, sign-makers, manufacturers and distributors will gather from around the globe to share knowledge, products and a passion for the sign industry.

ISE (Integrated Systems Europe) is a trade exhibition for AV and systems integration professionals. Attracting over 1,300 exhibitors and 80,000 attendees, the show provides a space for markets and clients to collaborate, do business, and experience the latest products on the market.

Following on from the introduction of its 8K DLP laser projector at last year’s ISE, Digital Projection is bringing a whole host of products to the show. Visitors will have the opportunity to sample its new INSIGHT 4K HFR multi-view 3D projector, as well as its 120Hz Radiance indoor LED displays, and the firm’s range of 1-chip and 3-chip DLP projectors.

Digital Projection’s range of displays has been designed with visualisation applications in mind, such as virtual rides in theme parks and museums where features such as virtual tours are possible. The Manchester-based manufacturer will showcase its products on stand 1-F70.

LED exporter Absen will be presenting its range of LED products, including three new narrow pixel pitch (NPP) product series. Using integrated matrix device and common cathode technologies, Absen says its new Aries Series and CR series “provides five-times the strength than traditional LED screens, whilst consuming 20% less power.”

In addition, Absen’s stand will be showcasing existing products including Polaris, an outdoor and indoor applications series, the N-Plus series which is suited for retail and corporate applications, and the Cassette for outdoor and transportation advertising. Visitors can find the firm on stand 12-C60.

Also in the field of projection, Austrian AV manufacturer AV Stumpfl will present its latest projection screen products and version 1.0 of its media server system PIXERA – a 64-bit system for real-time media processing, compositing and management.

Commenting, AV Stumpfl’s chief executive officer, Tobias Stumpfl, says: “Using PIXERA, entering the world of professional media playout solutions has never been easier. This general ease-of-use does not mean however that there is no depth to the software.

“The great flexibility with which users can manipulate content in a true 3D space is just one example which shows that PIXERA is a powerful tool which will inspire a great number of AV professionals at ISE.” AV Stumpfl can be found at stands 1-H10 and 1-H5.

Visitors to the show will also have the chance to experience signage developer Tripleplay’s Green Room and “see into the future of IPTV and digital signage.”

Commenting on the firm’s display, James Keen, head of marketing at Tripleplay says: “This year we have created our Green Room to allow us to showcase what you can do as a technology provider. The Green Room also provides a great opportunity for delegates to take the weight off, relax and chat with the team in amongst the busiest of weeks. We look forward to welcoming our clients and partners to the stand and to another amazing ISE.” Tripleplay will be on stand 10-N155.

In the retail and workplace communications sector, Signagelive will be exhibiting its interactive digital applications. The digital signage manufacturer says its stand (8-C430) has been designed to showcase the use of its platform to deliver solutions for retail and the workplace.

In an announcement, Signagelive says: “We would like to invite our partners, resellers and end users, including both existing and future customers to come on a journey with us at our stand. We will be showing how digital signage is beneficial for workplace communications and retail as well as many other verticals.

“We will be demonstrating how customers can use Signagelive’s cloud-based software platform throughout their business from customer-facing retail digital signage and breakroom communications, through to visualising company data on sales floors, showing KPIs in manufacturing and ware housing, and innovative reception areas.”

ISE 2019 takes place from February 5th-8th, 2019, at the RAI in Amsterdam.
