D*Face shifts up a gear with car art

Renowned artist D*Face recently joined forces with Kaspersky Lab and the Virgin Racing Formula E Team to produce a special piece of car art to showcase the notion that art can empower people to make a change.

Unveiled at the Moniker Art Fair, the first-ever Formula E art car was hung from the wall at the gallery for all to see.

The project builds on the art car concept that was made famous in the 1970s, with the words ‘Save the World’ written on the car. The piece also includes a number of D*Face’s iconic wings.

Speaking about the project D*Face, also known as Dean Stockton, says: “Does everyone have a good and bad element to them, and how much does the bad outweigh the good?

“In times like now, we all need to take on the mantra of the super hero and help Save the World. It is time for all of us to stand together and make a change.

“Be that stopping data steals, addressing climate change and plastic waste or using damaging fuels. We all have the power to do one thing that will help make a change.

“It has been exciting to work with Kaspersky Lab on this project and create art with a real message of hope for a brighter future. This is, after all, our world and we need to look after it.

“It will take every one of us to make a real lasting, impactful change.”
