SAi surpasses major software milestone

SA International (SAi) has this week hit a major landmark after revealing that users of its flagship software-by-subscription initiative now number well over 10,000.

The company only launched the product four years ago but it remains the only solution of its kind that enables users to access RIP software via a monthly subscription and cloud-based downloads.

Mark Blundell, chief executive of SAi, says: “This achievement is a fitting testament to the way in which SAi’s subscription-based initiative presents increased and quantifiable benefits to sign industry customers around the world, who continue to enthusiastically embrace the model.

Rocken Graphics, a print shop based in Gibsonton, Florida, in the US, was the lucky company to take on the 10,000th subscription.

Kenny Smith, owner of Rocken Graphics, comments: “As a small business, SAi’s program enables us instant access to Flexi’s extensive catalog of design tools, which enables us to compete with larger sign shops.

“We use two licences to drive our five large-format printers and typically produce around 500 jobs a month. The ability to access Flexi on subscription offers us huge business efficiencies in terms of time- and cost-savings and the quality achievable with the software is phenomenal.

“In fact, our customers often praise us for the vibrancy of our signage, and I believe this has played an integral role in securing repeat business.”

SAi provides software solutions for the sign-making, digital printing and CNC machining industries.
