Image On continues growth focus with Mimaki

Image On has completed the next phase of its ongoing expansion initiative by purchasing a Mimaki CJV150-130 from CMYUK.

The machine is now in place at the company’s new facility, which opened last year, and has already been put to use on a number of major projects.

Image On is a diversified company that works with customers across a range of areas, such as branded clothing and merchandise, as well as IT-focused projects including web design and social media.

The CJV150-130 integrated printer/cutter allows users to feature various ink types in their work, including the new silver, orange and light black. For this reason, Mimaki and CMYUK bill the machine as the “ultimate” tool for sign-makers, display graphics professionals and print shops

Neill Boatman, a partner in Image On, agrees with this statement: “The Mimaki CJV150-130 has enabled us to bring production in-house. It has made what we do easier, more cost-effectively and we can now also offer new products and target new markets.

We’re excited to see where the future leads now we have the means to expand into new markets

Boatman’s Image On joined forces with Bright Chameleon, run by Dan Smith, last year, and the combined company has been seeking further growth ever since.

“We’re excited to see where the future leads now we have the means to expand into new markets,” Boatman adds.

“CMYUK’s installation engineer was great and we have maintained a good relationship, allowing us to call on him for advice and guidance as we learn all about the new equipment.”
