William Smith promises to “redefine” wrapping

William Smith has expanded its portfolio of material solutions with the addition of Arlon Illuminite Wrap, a product the firm says is “redefining” wrapping with reflective films.

The digitally-printable reflective film can confirm to both irregular and smooth surfaces. Boasting ‘Flite’ technology, William Smith says this feature makes the product easier to install and reposition, thus making it a flexible solution for customers.

The film can be combined with an overlaminate to protect and enhance graphics, offering what William Smith says is an “exceptional” gloss finish when used with Series 3220 Overlaminate

To support the launch, Arlon has also added a matt overlaminate to Series 3270. Suitable for use with SLX Cast Wrap, this cast overlaminate offers a seven-year durability and can be used in deep channels, rivets, compound curves and on smooth wall surfaces.

The Illuminite Wrap with Flite Technology provides an excellent way to ensure graphics can be seen clearly 24 hours a day and with effortless installation, it's a brilliant film to work with

William Smith says this overlaminate extends the life of graphics by protecting the application from outdoor elements. It is constructed from a 50-micron cast vinyl film with a clear, permanent pressure-sensitive adhesive.

Chris Bradley, head of marketing at William Smith, part of the William Smith Group 1832, comments: “The additions to the Arlon range have cemented our commitment to supplying the UK with the best quality materials. The Illuminite Wrap with Flite Technology provides an excellent way to ensure graphics can be seen clearly 24 hours a day and with effortless installation, it's a brilliant film to work with.”
