Driving the print production evolution

Ricoh has announced details of a new collaboration with TheMagicTouch that is designed to help print service providers (PSPs) evolve their service offering with the Ricoh Ri 100 all-in-one direct-to-garment solution.

Under the partnership agreement, TheMagicTouch will now make the Ricoh Ri 100 available across its Europe, Middle East and African network, starting with the key markets of France, Italy, Netherlands, Spain and the UK next month.

TheMagicTouch will expand this initial reach from June as it seeks to educate countries across the wider EMEA region of the benefits of using the Ricoh kit.

The Ricoh Ri 100 is billed as an entry-level device, suitable for PSPs that offer print-on-demand work such as promotional and personalised garments and t-shirts

Juergen Hagedorn, founder and chief executive of TheMagicTouch, says: “We are always looking to expand and enhance the innovative solutions we offer.

The Ri 100 is a cost effective and complete solution and therefore a perfect technology extension that we believe will support the profitable growth of many operations

Graham Kennedy, head of commercial inkjet business, commercial and industrial printing group at Ricoh Europe, adds: “We are delighted TheMagicTouch understands that Ricoh Direct to Garment technology can add value for their customers and that the high quality and easy to use Ri 100 passes its rigorous testing.”

Industry members will have the opportunity to see the Ricoh Ri 100 in action at a number of trade shows across Europe this year, including at FESPA 2018 in May.
