Summa has expanded its portfolio of cutting solutions with the launch of the new F1832 flatbed finishing system, a product that it says offers “unsurpassed cutting quality, utmost durability and maximum tool modularity”.

Based on the same technology used in the company’s F Series flatbed systems, the new F1832 boasts a working area of 184cm wide, which Summa says makes its an “ideal” choice for working with some of the most popular material sizes in the sign-making sector.

Like its predecessor models, the F1832 features an extended range of tools and modules that allow users to take on a range of work in a number of markets.

In addition, features such as tandem mode and vacuum zones will, according to Summa, help to boost productivity.

Thanks to the F1832’s added ability to cut popular sizes of roll material, rigid board material and textiles we can easily conclude the multifunctional use of the F1832 make it the ideal workhorse to offer numerous high-end cut solutions within the sign making, textile and digital print industries

Geert Pierloot, business and development manager at Summa, adds: “Thanks to the F1832’s added ability to cut popular sizes of roll material, rigid board material and textiles we can easily conclude the multifunctional use of the F1832 make it the ideal workhorse to offer numerous high-end cut solutions within the sign making, textile and digital print industries.

“Moreover, a large number of available features and add-ons on the F1832, such as the standard conveyor, ADC, Tandem Mode and camera system further expand the capabilities of the F1832 and lead to a substantial increase of productivity.”

Summa plans to showcase the new F1832 to a global audience on its stand at FESPA 2018, which takes place from May 15th to 18th in Berlin, Germany.
