Measuring just 19.5mm deep, the new player has been tested to pass extended operating temperatures as cold as minus 40°C and as hot as 70°C. The fanless and noiseless system has with a low-power Intel Atom x7-E3950 2.0GHz quad-core processor with an Intel HD Graphics, which IBASE says ensures “industrial-grade reliability” for stable operation.
Other features include two dual-channel DDR3L-1866 sockets that provide up to 8GB memory and 64GB mSATA SSD, while a Mini PCI-E slot allows for optional WiFi, Bluetooth, 4G, and video capture functions.
IBASE also focuses on the size of the player, saying that its super-slim chassis means it can fit into the tightest spaces behind displays and offers a whole host of connectivity options, such as a Gigabit Ethernet, audio, USB 3.0 ports, and two HDMI interface supporting 4K UFD resolution.

The SE-102-N has two HDMI outputs together supporting independent audio outputs, as well as built-in hardware extended display identification data simulation to prevent screen convergence problems and issues.
In addition, users of SE-102-N will benefit from IBASE’s ‘iSMART’ energy-saving and ‘Observer’ monitoring technologies that feature automatic power on/off scheduling, automatic power recovery, low temperature boot protection, and hardware monitoring.
