Zeta Specialist Lighting guides the way

LED and solar lighting specialist, Zeta Specialist Lighting, has had its Light Guide Panel used in a large signage project that had its various elements constructed and installed by IS Group.

Westgate Oxford has recently had its wayfinding scheme redesigned by FRA, which worked with IS Group. The signs will display vital information for shoppers, and was designed to be easy to read.

The Light Guide Panel provides consistent lighting so that shoppers can read information at all times. The panel is made from high-quality acrylic and the grid pattern has been developed to create shadow-free illumination. The modern design fits well with the brand and feel of the shopping centre, thanks to its design and blue lighting generated by Sloan LED.

FRA analysed the 800,000sq m shopping centre, and detailed the best place for each of the totem signs to be located. The eleven 800 x 3000mm large totems, and 500 x 2400mm smaller totems have been placed in each of the areas found most useful.

Matching the wayfinding signage to the brand was key for FRA, and the cost-effective and energy-efficient solution from Zeta was the perfect choice to light the totem signs. The new signage will show customers information, and how to get to over 100 retail stores.
