Signs Express opens up Scarborough

One way of entering the sign industry is through an established brand with a franchise operation, which is what Edith and David Lloyd of Scarborough have done.

They chose Signs Express as it is a firmly established sign-making brand with 65 centres in the UK, but none in their area.

The duo have a background in graphic design and marketing so felt the benefits offered by the network fed into their strengths. A Signs Express spokesperson comments: “David has the knowledge and the drive to ensure the business’ success.

"Together with Edith, who has a corporate background in sales and marketing as well as being a qualified teacher, the pair have a great combination for a new business.”

We are delighted to welcome David and Edith to the group

Craig Brown, managing director of Signs Express, says: “We are delighted to welcome David and Edith to the group and following their comprehensive training course at the Franchise Support Centre, we believe them to be the best team to effectively run a new business.”

The new business has good links to the A64 and is only ten minutes south of Scarborough town centre. It is ideally situated to service the whole of the Yorkshire coast, the East Riding market towns, and the North Yorkshire Moors region.
