Promoting the “proud” British sign-making industry

Promoting British industries is as important as ever with Brexit on the horizon. The country used to be one of the greatest engineering and manufacturing nations in the world, and celebrating this is equally as important.

Applelec has recently joined the Made in Britain network, joining other British companies in supporting British sign-making and manufacturing. With many businesses being sold to businessmen abroad, or being run from other countries, promoting the British industry at this time could benefit many firms and the whole industry.

We are proud to be a British manufacturer and with increasing orders coming from Europe and the Middle East in recent years, we have experienced confidence in the quality of British manufacturing

Ian Drinkwater, managing director of Applelec, comments: “We are proud to be a British manufacturer and with increasing orders coming from Europe and the Middle East in recent years, we have experienced confidence in the quality of British manufacturing. We wanted a clear way to highlight that Applelec is a British manufacturer to potential customers around the world as well as to other UK businesses.”

Made in Britain chief executive officer, John Pearce, comments: “We’ll be working with Applelec to support their provenance marketing both internally and to all their B3B stakeholders as they grow the business at home and abroad, emphasis in everything that makes them proud to be a Made in Britain member and UK manufacturer.”
