The Print Show sees first UK sale of new Mimaki

Environment Protection Limited today (Wednesday) became the first company in the UK to invest in a new Mimaki UCJV300-160, after completing a deal for the machine at The Print Show.

The Tunbridge Wells firm purchased the print-cutter from Printmax, which is exhibiting at The Print Show this year alongside Hybrid Services, the exclusive distributor of Mimaki kit in the UK and Ireland.

Speaking to Print Monthly at the event, Dean Smallwood and Chris Kavanagh of Environment Protection said they pleased to have signed off on a deal for the machine, adding that they are looking forward to seeing it in action.

Environment Protection specialises in office graphics and counts some of the biggest brands in the world among its customers. Social media heavyweight Facebook, technology giant Apple and even Google have worked with the company on print projects.

The Print Show is taking place this week—from October 11th to 13th—at the International Centre in Telford.
