Pro Bond spurs profit spiral

The challenges facing todays sign-maker are many fold, and revolve around demands for ultra-high-quality finishes and quick turnarounds to market.

Spiral Print is no different, but it has revealed a material technology has made a very significant difference to its ability to meet such challenges.

The firm uses PPB’s Pro Bond ACM, and has provided a case in point in regard to a recent commission it has done for the newly promoted Lincoln City Football Club.

It has printed, converted and laminated without issue and the overall feel and look of the product is far superior to many alternative ACM’s on the market

Spiral printed directly onto 50 panels using its Jetrix wide format UV printer. They then laminated the face of the boards with anti-graffiti laminate for maximum impact and durability.

“We previously had quality issues with our chosen ACM, such as poor print and lack of adhesion to laminate,” explains Jason Carpenter, production manager for Spiral Print. He adds: “Pro Bond has been a revelation to us in terms of value for money and outstanding quality. It has printed, converted and laminated without issue and the overall feel and look of the product is far superior to many alternative ACM’s on the market.”
