Fujifilm offers inexpensive flatbed option

Smaller firms can now benefit from a new UV flatbed printer, which Fujifilm is offering at a lower cost than its Acuity Select 20 and 30 series, without denting production capabilities.

The Acuity 15 is a perfect fit for commercial, graphic display, and industrial printers who have a lower print volume. It is low cost which makes it even more suitable for smaller firms that do not have financial clout to invest in the more expensive series.

It uses Uvijet KN multipurpose ink or Uvijet KV thermoforming ink, which enables CMYK and white ink printing. The newest addition to the range is available in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Able to produce the same quality as our Select 20 and 30 ranges, the Acuity 15 provides a great investment opportunity for any print business looking to diversify

Tudor Morgan, segment manager, sign and display at Fujifilm Graphic Systems Europe, comments: “With the Acuity 15, Fujifilm is delighted to bring the benefits of its Acuity flatbed range to a much broader range of print service providers. Able to produce the same quality as our Select 20 and 30 ranges, the Acuity 15 provides a great investment opportunity for any print business looking to diversify.

“Whether for a full print job, a proof or even as a way to get into printing thermoformed objects, it gives small and large print businesses alike the chance to offer their customers stunning, rigid and flexible prints on almost any surface.”

Despite being a cheaper option for light production needs, Fujifilm believes that the flatbed printer is also suitable for larger firms, that wish to free up space by using the Acuity 15 to print proofs and sample pieces for customers.
