Twickenham Amayse-s with Clear Focus

Twickenham Stadium, the home of English rugby, was recently given a partial facelift by 3D signage specialist Amayse—with some help from Clear Focus One Way Vision film from CMYUK.

Once a year, Harlequins swaps its usual home at The Stoop for a special game at Twickenham. Last year, the event, sponsored by IG, attracted more than 70,000 fans and was able to raise valuable funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity.

Amayse was given the task of producing and installing window graphics on exterior windows at Twickenham to help promote the match, with the firm opting for an EFI VUTEk GS3250r 3.2m-wide UV roll-to-roll printer to produce the graphics on Clear Focus One Way Vision BudgetVue film.

Purchased from CMYUK, an independent supplier of digital print technology and materials, the film allows graphics on one side, and a clear, unobstructed view from the other.

Our installers commented that it was the best one way vision film that they have worked with, which is great news

Greg Craigen, managing director at Amayse, says: “Our installers commented that it was the best one way vision film that they have worked with, which is great news.

“CMYUK are always very accommodating and ensure that any last-minute orders for product are fulfilled, which can often be the case when working in events.”

The graphics took just a few hours to install and were removed the week after the game, without leaving any residue.

Mick Crook, commercial director at CMYUK, adds: “The graphics produced by Amayse are amazing and the Clear Focus 80/20 product gives maximum colour punch due to the 80 percent print area, which is perfect for large event graphics at Twickenham.”
