The new installations are also a sign of the increased partnership between Sabur and DGI. The Korean manufacturers produce the Fabrijet series.

The 3204X hybrid printer, which is 3.2m long, is able to print both directly onto fabric, and also paper, with the same ink set, and was on show at Fespa in Asia.

Managing director of Sabur, Dean Sanger, says: “Having worked closely with DGI over the last two years and successfully selling, installing and servicing the DGI HS FTII high speed sublimation printer without any real issues, it was a no brainer to increase our DGI portfolio.

“I watched and monitored the new DGI Fabrijet printers very closely at Fespa and it has to be said that the printers that DGI had on their stand ran faultlessly over the entire event.

Sanger continues: “DGI had the printer running both polyester fabric and sublimation paper medias alternatively daily over the full five-day event and I have to say that the printer never missed a beat.

“The entire range of printers were printing consecutively for the whole five-day event with the Fabrijet FT-1608 being tasked to print non-stop from opening at 10:00 until close at 17:00, which it did without any stops except to change the media.”
