The 3.2m device is billed as being suitable for both sign-makers and graphics producers, due to its ability to produce work for both indoor and outdoor applications. Users also have the option to add a dual roll kit, which allows for increased, unattended production for rolls up to 1.6m in width.
And as an added bonus, the HP Latex 1500 produces prints that are completely dry and ready to install, meaning that users can offer their own customers a same-day-delivery service—an option that is becoming increasingly popular with print service providers as they battle for business in what is a competitive UK market.
Leon Watson, general manager for Spandex UK, comments: “The HP Latex 1500 printer's high speeds and low output costs at just 79p per metre make it ideal for businesses who want to expand their capabilities.

“It is designed to cater for new and more profitable textile applications such as point-of-sale, retail displays, exhibitions and lightboxes, all of which are well supported by the new range of ImagePerfect textiles.”
Spandex already offers a wide range of printing equipment, including the HP Latex 300 Series, and expects the HP Latex 1500 to attract even more interest in its offering within the UK market.
