EFI hails tactical move in UK growth strategy

EFI has reported that its decision to appoint LLP Ltd as a UK and Irish agent for its Jetrion digital label and narrow web inkjet print machines is already paying major dividends.

LLP has been serving as an official EFI partner since April and was appointed to the role after spending some time seeking a major digital print manufacturer to join forces with, as part of its growth plans.

Ian Bates, managing director of LLP, comments: “Our knowledge, experience and customer base complements the capabilities the Jetrion range offers this fast growing market.”

However, as Martin Mayo, EFI UK and Ireland sales director also explains, the move also favoured the manufacturer’s own strategy to enhance its already-strong presence in the UK and Ireland—two regions it values very highly.

For LPP, adding the Jetrion printers to their portfolio meets real needs in the digital market

Mayo expands: “From my first meeting with Ian and LPP chairman Les Bradley, their credibility in the label and packaging market shone through. I simply needed to have the best on board.

“For LPP, adding the Jetrion printers to their portfolio meets real needs in the digital market.”

LPP has been active in the wider print market for more than 50 years experience, and has a portfolio of equipment that also includes other leading brands such as Flexor, Flexomaid, Rotary Technologies, Teknek, Nikka, CPS and DMS.
