Bold ambition revealed for supply duo

Wrights Plastics and Mid West Displays have marked a year in successful partnership since a buy-out brought the two companies together to form one of the UK sign industry’s biggest suppliers of manufacturing materials and display components.

The managing director of both companies, Mike Wright, also revealed his ambitions for the consolidated company now it has one year under its belt.

He says: “We’ve targeted export as a key to growth, and exhibiting at the recent Euroshop show was a great opportunity to strengthen our distributor and client network across Europe.”

“Obviously, there is always uncertainty surrounding any buy-out, but the company has gone from strength-to-strength,” explains Clive Towe, who was appointed manager of Mid West Displays following the take-over by Wrights.

He continues: “We have been able to incorporate Wrights Plastics skills and equipment to create new product lines and expand into new markets.

"We’ve added to the management team, as well as production staff here and, twelve months on, there is a really positive vibe in the business.”
