Dudley, who joins the company from Roland DG, will be based at the company’s laser showroom in the Irish capital of Dublin, and also offer field-based support and training to customers across the two countries.

Having started out at Roland DG as a bench engineer after graduating from the University of Southampton, Dudley went on to serve as assistant product manager and, later, business manager for 3D and dental.
Speaking about the new appointment, Martin Horne, Trotec UK managing director, says Dudley will be able to use this experience in his new role with the company.

Horne went on to add: “Andrew brings a wealth of experience in laser's neighbouring industries of 3D printing and milling.
“There is an increased demand for laser technology within Ireland so we are delighted to be able to provide full-time resident support to the region.”
The appointment comes ahead of Trotec’s appearance at this month’s FESPA 2017, which will take place at the Hamburg Messe in the German city from May 8th to 12th.
