Mimaki breaks its FESPA record

Mimaki Europe has revealed that FESPA 2017 will see it take a massive 534sq m, its biggest ever presence split over two stands, and will see it launch its first ever 3D print solution as well as showcase its commitment to the textile/soft signage print market.

“We are looking forward to FESPA 2017 with great excitement,” says Ronald van den Broek, general manager sales at Mimaki Europe. 

He adds: “Not only is it a good opportunity to reinforce our dedication to provide innovative solutions for the textile industry, but it is also a chance to display our full product portfolio for signs and displays and industrial printing. 

“This includes a technology demonstration of our new 3D printer, which we also discussed with attendees at Drupa 2016. Because of the wide range of products we wanted to bring to the show, we decided to engage two stands in two separate halls to give each segment the focus it deserves.”

In the Textile Hall, Mimaki Europe will be demonstrating its latest range of textile printers, including the recently-announced and unique dual-ink Tx300P-1800 and the high-speed direct-to-textile Tiger-1800B. 

The Tx300P-1800 and Tx300P-1800B direct-to-textile printers have been updated to simultaneously load both textile pigment and sublimation dye inks, which enables the use of a single printer to output directly to a wide range of textiles without the need to change ink systems. 

The Tiger-1800B was developed by Italy’s La Meccanica, recently acquired by Mimaki. With a maximum printing speed of 390sq m/h, the Tiger-1800B suits high-volume production environments.
