Vivid set to ride the waves at SDUK

Vivid Laminating Technologies has revealed plans to use its presence at this year’s edition of popular industry event Sign and Digital UK to launch a new brand for its luxury foil supply.

Although already regarded as a must-visit by many visitors, the Vivid stand is set to be even busier than normal, with the firm anticipating plenty of interest in the new Aqua Aura range of luxury foil consumables.

Attendees that stop by stand F42 will learn more about the benefits of using this type of material, as well as the different types of work it can be used in.

David Smith, marketing communications manager at Vivid, comments: “Sign and Digital UK will see us launch our new brand of luxury foil consumables ‘Aqua Aura’. We’ve named the product range after the Aqua Aura quartz and gold crystal, which gives iridescent rainbow-coloured flashes, perfect for the multiple colours of foils we offer.

“There’s a significant demand for printers now able to bring in-house bespoke foiling on digital print jobs without having to pay for expensive outsourcing and set-ups.”

Aside from the new Aqua Aura products, visitors will be able to view a number of the company’s most popular products, including various Easymount and Matrix Systems.

Due to feature on the Vivid stand at the event this month is the Easymount Air wide-format laminating system, which recently picked up the ‘Top Product’ award for 2016 from Wide-Format and Signage magazine in the US. The machine has also been nominate for the much-coveted ‘Readers’ Choice’ award for 2017.

Smith adds: “Winning an award for the Easymount in the US is an incredible achievement. Our technology on the patented floating pneumatic rollers is the unique selling point on the Air, as it keeps your laminating and mounting height and pressure locked in. The system runs at 10m a minute, meaning your work gets finished faster and is incredibly accurate.”

Vivid will be one of a number of major brands in attendance at this month’s Sign and Digital UK, which, celebrates its 30th anniversary this year. Due to the special milestone, organisers are expecting more interest than usual in the show, with hopes of attracting a record number of visitors over the three days at the NEC in Birmingham.
