Soyang surfs sign industry swell

As the UK sign and graphics industry continues to experience sustained growth, a strategic business expansion plan for Soyang Europe to capitalise on the trend has paid dividends—reporting a significant increase in year-on-year sales.

“Everyone in our sales team has their own specific area of expertise which, collectively, puts Soyang in a very strong position for providing guidance and advice to its customers,” explains Kerrie-Anne Moore, sales manager at Soyang Europe.

The firm has made its name as a specialist media supplier, with an extensive portfolio of products ranging from textile through to more niche flooring and wall coverings, and the company’s self-adhesive ranges have seen major growth over the last year.

Moore explains: “Our self-adhesive portfolio consists of high quality and competitively priced products that are manufactured in Europe.

“We are a UK distributor for Intercoat, which is perfect for high-quality, every day sign making as well as for Decal, which is ideal for those more specialist applications.

"Decal is the only range in the market that is resin adhesive coated giving a very high tack system, with less shrinkage than other PVC films and a glossier finish.”

Set for its next industry outing at Sign and Digital UK in late March, Soyang reveals it has managed to achieve a growth in sales due to several factors: “We’ve got a friendly and knowledgeable sales team on hand to offer advice and deal with orders, and from our stockholding of over 1.5 million square meters of material in our Lancashire distribution centre, we can slit and convert materials to suit the requirements of the individual.”
