Community printing project gets Jetrix

In order to expand on its printing technology and capabilities, MAKE Aberdeen, a digital fabrication facility brought about by Robert Gordon University, has installed its own Jetrix KX3 from InkTec.

The project is supported by Aberdeen City Council, Creative Scotland, and the UK Government Super Connected Cities programme. MAKE Aberdeen provides the latest technology to make digital design more accessible. This means you can now make your own designs quickly and for less cost.
It has a local community spirit about encouraging innovation and being able to explore ideas, while also potentially encouraging more people into the printing sector

“For JETRIX, we are particularly proud of this project,” says Ben Woodruff, head of national sales at InkTec, adding: “It has a local community spirit about encouraging innovation and being able to explore ideas, while also potentially encouraging more people into the printing sector.

“It is also one of our first printers to be installed in an educational establishment, which demonstrates the quality and versatility of what the JETRIX KX3 can produce and makes it a perfect piece of kit for this fantastic venture.”
