InkTec boosts Jetrix with software update

InkTec Europe has moved to strengthen the abilities of its Jetrix technology by releasing a software update for the range.

The latest software features an enhanced user experience as well as a number of other improvements, such as the ability to set the lamp power on a scale of one to nine, which the firm says offers more precision in terms of adaptability to suit media type.

Also featured on the upgrade is a new flood tool that enables the user to print a flood white or black layer without the need to create a separate layer within the artwork file.

In addition, users will now benefit from an application that nests images, which in turn enables duplication without the need for large rip files every time, thus decreasing the amount of time spent in pre-production.

The specific requirements for this latest version centres on delivering the ultimate, user-friendly experience while specifically focusing on areas which will deliver a direct, positive impact for the printer

Joey Kim, managing director of InkTec Europe, comments: “The research and development team in our headquarters are constantly looking at ways to evolve and improve the GUI software of the JETRIX printers.

“The specific requirements for this latest version centres on delivering the ultimate, user-friendly experience while specifically focusing on areas which will deliver a direct, positive impact for the printer.”
