Agfa sets out industrial showcase at InPrint

Agfa Graphics used its recent appearance at InPrint 2016 in Milan, Italy, to show off the opportunities regarding the integration of print in manufacturing.

Visitors to the company’s stand were able to find out how technology from Agfa can help them to produce a variety of work, which in turn could open up new markets.

Tom Cloots, manager marketing industrial inkjet at Agfa, says: “As a supplier to the industry we help industries to reduce total production time, and save money, as well as to create completely new products.

There is a clear demand to lower stocks, to offer personalised products and to be able to follow industry and fashion trends

“It must be mentioned that some of our wide-format printing equipment is used to print industrial applications—either inline or in-house—and we offer workflow and colour management expertise to manage colour consistency across various substrates.”

Cloots adds: “There is a clear demand to lower stocks, to offer personalised products and to be able to follow industry and fashion trends. With inkjet printing technology and a lot of creativity, it is possible to re-think existing workflows and create new opportunities.”
