Antalis fights cancer with £3,000 raised

A pink cloud has descended over Antalis headquarters recently as the paper supplier has got to work fundraising for Breast Cancer Now and, as a result, raised over £3,000.

The company has been supporting the charity for over ten years and this year dressed up in pink and fancy dress, as well as taking part in many fundraising activities led the company to its impressive total money raised.

The team started the day with a ‘Big Breakfast’ sandwich eating challenge, followed by a ‘Pink Bake-Off’ competition and bake sale. There was also a raffle draw and ‘wear it pink’ wristbands were available to buy.

The team also got active by taking it in turns on a cross trainer to see if they could ‘climb the pink mountain’. In total, the company managed 58,665 steps together, which is the equivalent of climbing Mount Everest.

Antalis has supported Breast Cancer Now for a number of years, as so many of us are touched by the disease in one way or another

“Antalis has supported Breast Cancer Now for a number of years, as so many of us are touched by the disease in one way or another,” says Samantha Brown, communication manager at Antalis.

She continues: “The whole team at Antalis really got into the fun spirit of things at our ‘wear it pink’ event this year and I’d like to thank everyone for their efforts and generosity. I’m really pleased we were able to raise over £3,000 and hope it goes some way to help fight this devastating disease.”
