Signs and Print going places with Rollsroller

Braintree-based Signs and Print has purchased a Rollsroller 540/220P flatbed applicator from Spandex as part of a wider investment initiative designed to help bolster its production capabilities.

The Essex company supplies trade-only resellers across the UK with a range of signage products, and the new Rollsroller will help the firm cope with demand from its wide-ranging customer base.

Lee Reeves, managing director, spoke positively about the Rollsroller 540/220P, stating that it will now only enable Signs and Print to take on more work, but also maintain a consistent high quality finish on a wide range of rigid boards.

“In today’s climate we are increasingly seeing demands for shorter turnaround times from our trade clients and our investment in the Rollsroller enables us to substantially decrease our turnaround times without compromising on quality,” Reeves comments.”

He goes on to say: “Before the Rollsroller was installed we had a bottleneck in our production on the mounting of large boards as being mounted by hand was very labour intensive and time consuming, requiring two people to mount larger boards; this can now be done within a fraction of the time and by one operator.”

The investment comes at a key time for Signs and Print, which, although already established as a leading supplier in the trade-only market, will now benefit from a strengthened production offering, which in turn will help the company stand out in a busy, and competitive, sector of the industry.
