Ritrama commits to market with $85m investment

Self-adhesive materials specialist Ritrama has announced that it is to invest $85m (£69.3m) in a new facility in Spartanburg County, South Carolina, in the US.

The 30,000sq m site, which will create 150 new jobs in the region, will utilise the latest coating technologies, and robotics for internal logistics and packaging.

The new facility, expected to be fully open by the fourth quarter of next year, will also feature a fully automated storage and retrieval system for all warehousing requirements.

Both Spartanburg County and the State of South Carolina have been very supportive to work with during this process, and we are looking forward to being part of the community and bringing new jobs to our highly-automated, state-of-the-art factory

Ricardo Rink, chief executive of the Ritrama Group, comments: “We at Ritrama are excited about expanding our North American manufacturing footprint in Moore, S.C.
