Super bikes get 3M treatment

One of William Smith’s brands that has been in the spotlight recently is 3M, whose materials were on show at an open day held by APM Customs, with SMC Automotive and GT Cars Chester.

The event had a theme of iconic super cars, and featured bikes from the PR Racing British Superbike Team wrapped in 3M materials, as well as super cars from brands like Ferrari and Porsche.

Another of William Smith’s brands, Avery Dennison, has released a range of new products, strengthening William Smith’s portfolio of materials even further. Avery has introduced the new Supreme Wrapping Film ColorFlow Series, which consists of colour shifting films in five new colours: Rising Sun (red/gold), Urban Jungle (silver/green), Roaring Thunder (blue/red), Fresh Spring (gold/silver), and Rushing Riptide (cyan/purple).

The new ColorFlow Series allows installers to create dynamic, colour shifting car wraps that are incredibly unique

“The new ColorFlow Series allows installers to create dynamic, colour shifting car wraps that are incredibly unique,” says Oliver Guenther, marketing director of Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions Europe, adding: “When the light hits any of the five new colours, the film creates a fluid, shifting spectrum of colour that transforms the vehicle into a beautiful work of art.”

Another new product from the firm is Avery’s multi-purpose inkjet film, MPI 2800, a gloss white film that is available in permanent or removable adhesive.
