JCDecaux strengthens digital presence

JCDecaux has expanded its team recently with the appointment of Mashable’s Ben Maher as sales and partnerships director, as well as the promotion of Dallas Wiles to commercial director.

Maher used to be executive director EMEA at digital media website Mashable and will bring his knowledge of the digital media landscape to JCDecaux. Wiles has worked at JCDecaux for 17 years across every sales division, and will now oversee JCDecaux’s Smartsuite.

“Both Ben and Dallas are exceptional assets to our company and bring a wealth of internal and external industry experience,” says Spencer Berwin, co-chief executive officer at JCDecaux UK.

He adds: “JCDecaux has rapidly changed into a digitally-focused business. Our London digital roll-out will add 1,000 digital screens to our offering, and we expect 50 per cent of UK advertising revenues to be coming from digital. Having both Ben and Dallas on board in these key positions will propel our digital offering and potential to the next level.”
