Screen’s Filler retires after stellar career

After an extensive career spanning 35 years with Screen Europe, president Brian Filler has announced he is to retire at the end of September this year.

Brian Filler began his career working as an apprenticeship photolithographer in 1966, at a Barnet-based print business, Stellar Press, before going on to join a trade platemaking company. After a stint as studio manager, Filler began his sales career selling photography equipment at John Hadland Graphic Arts.

Filler joined Screen UK as a salesperson in 1981, before being appointed managing director in 2000, and senior vice-president in 2010. Filler put his company knowledge, strong management skills, and impressive strategic track record to further use as he took on the role of president three years later, in January of 2013.
