Hybrid’s Cole comments on over-saturated market

He is a man of forthright opinions about business, wide-format printers and trends. And Stuart Cole’s latest comments in response to a question from a wide-ranging interview with SignLink on market trends touches on a sore point for many, namely how wide-format printer suppliers can grow in an ever-more crowded market

Cole, who is national sales manager -industrial products at Hybrid Services, says: “I think some suppliers come and go, but the core ones are in there for the long haul. You are only as good as your machines, and the market continues to grow.”

Cole comments: “I think the poor old end user has to try and filter out all of that and come up with an intelligent solution. Working with end-user referrals are a good think to work with.

I don’t see how it is going to change, you will always see people trying to exploit opportunity and will only be in it for the long-term if they realise you cannot make a quick buck selling on fire-sale prices with no long-term plan

“You have got to have all the support, software, reseller network otherwise it comes unstuck. I don’t see how it is going to change, you will always see people trying to exploit opportunity and will only be in it for the long-term if they realise you cannot make a quick buck selling on fire-sale prices with no long-term plan.”
