Avery Dennison set to crown new Wrap King

Avery Dennison has expanded its popular ‘Wrap Like a King Challenge’ to 44 countries around the world, by inviting both Australia and New Zealand to take part in this year’s competition

Entrants can submit commercial or colour change wrap projects to be in with a chance of winning prize packages worth $25,000 (£18,500) during the initiative, which this year celebrates its fourth edition.

“We expect 2016 to be a year of outstanding creativity for Wrap Like a King,” comments Bill Podojil, senior business director, Avery Dennison, adding: “With a new crop of talented car wrap installers from Australia and New Zealand and the exciting ‘That’s a Wrap’ Gallery, we’ll be sharing all types of wraps, more than just vehicles, on a level never seen before.”

Entries will be split into eight geographic regions within the US, Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, with installers submitting projects featuring Avery Dennison Supreme Wrapping Film, Conform Chrome series, Avery Dennison MPI 1105 Supercast Digital film, or a combination of car wrap films.

The first 25 installers to submit their entry will receive a special prize, while regional winners will be revealed in October.

However, the overall winner will not be announced until the following month, with a panel judges set to crown the ‘King of the Wrap World’ at the 2016 SEMA Show, which runs November 1st to 4th in Las Vegas, Nevada.
