The latest move from the environmentally-conscious company sees it reveal that its Chilean production site has started a partnership with a recycling company in Chile, transforming PET liners into clamshell and trays for packaging.

Ritrama claims it is committed to implementing environmental policies, and the new project will offer vinyl printers and brand end users an option for PET liners once they have been used.

This offers significant cost and waste savings, and its high RPET (post-consumer recycled material) content helps to reduce the carbon footprint. Ritrama Chile will propose the PET recycling option to all of its customers.

Ritrama also recently unveiled a new look to its corporate website which can be accessed from any digital device such as smartphones and tablets.

The white, black, and blue colours have been used to reflect the company’s corporate colours, and different sections such as ‘products’ and ‘news and events’ stand out more to continuously update customers with company news.

The new website has been live since May 3rd and can be viewed in both Italian and English, with Spanish, French, German, and Russian translations to come.
