Storm branches out in London

Strengthening its position as London’s largest provider of large-format screens, Clear Channel has announced four new sites in the capital for its premium digital brand, Storm. These consist of Storm Borough High Street, Storm Nine Elms Battersea, Storm Wandsworth Bridge, and Storm A3 Tower.

“Storm is number 1 in London and we’re delighted to be adding sites in Borough, Battersea, Wandsworth and Merton to our market-leading portfolio in the capital,” says Aimee McKay, managing director at Storm.

She continues: “Like all Storm locations, these four sites are being developed to marry stunning architectural design with state-of-the-art technologies in order to offer advertisers total ownership of truly creative digital Out of Home structures.”

The company says its Storm Borough High Street location is ideal to reach an ‘affluent metropolitan’ audience as Borough is home to many young professionals due to its busy nightlife and tourist attractions.

Also recently launched is Storm The Mile in Leeds, which features advanced moving lighting techniques for those looking to advertise more creatively. The screen is set within a unique lighting wall, with a bespoke integrated control system.

McKay adds: “Leeds is one of the UK’s key cities, and we’re delighted to be introducing the first Storm site in West Yorkshire, Storm The Mile. This site features totally unique moving lighting capabilities and I’m extremely excited to work with brands to create some of the most creative and impactful Out of Home advertising anywhere in the UK.”
