University powers up with Zeta

The University of Wolverhampton recently enlisted the help of Zeta Specialist Lighting to undertake a project as part of an effort to boost its environmental credentials.

The university utilised Zeta’s Bespoke Solar Signage Kit to produce customised wayfinding signage, which was placed across its main campus.

Midlands-based Digital Imaging Services (DIS) supported the project by designing and delivering the signage network, which is now fully up and running in the city.

Mark Bradley, director at DIS, comments: “Zeta’s ability to provide a solar powered solution was integral to the success of this project. Illumination was critical, without light, the wayfinding system wouldn’t have been fit for purpose.

Following the success of the project, which is also helping the university save on energy costs, the university is exploring the possibility of installing similar solar powered wayfinding at its other sites across the city.
