Truepress Jet flies to FESPA

This year’s FESPA Digital is set to be the showcase for the launch of a new raft of technological developments from Screen, with the emphasis being placed on upgrades to its flagship 150sq m/h Truepress Jet 3200UV hybrid printer.

Capable of handling media up to 3.2m wide, visitors will also be able to experience existing capabilities that include multilayer spot silk printing, as well as backlit and relief white printing.

The maintenance and cleaning system for the Truepress Jet is one of its key new advances, and reportedly saves 10 to 15 percent on annual ink costs and cuts down operator intervention.

A further upgrade is ‘intelligent nozzle mapping’ system, which is designed to ensure that maintenance breaks are kept to a minimum.

The system will be set up to showcase the printer’s capability to switch quickly between basic production and fine printing modes and cater for multilayer spot silk, backlit and relief printing, as well as the use of white ink.
