Newtech kicks off 2016 with success

The first Coactive Newtech event of the year, held in Corby, has reported visitor figures of over 200 from the commercial print, wide-format, sign, display, and textile and branded goods sectors of the industry, who were all personally invited to the exhibition.

The series of mini exhibitions journeyed across the UK last year to show people the latest products and equipment.

The same goes for 2016 with Glasgow, Brighton, Brentwood, Manchester, Bristol, London, and Leeds all set to receive a visit.

I think it’s great, the atmosphere is brilliant. I have had the time with people to understand exactly how the equipment works

The Corby event took place over February 2nd to 3rd at Ultima Displays’ premises in Northamptonshire—the company previously praised the ‘relaxed and informal’ nature of the event. Exhibitors covered areas such as large-format display, and textile printing software and hardware.

Fiona Cox, director of Creative Design and Print, says of the event: “I think it’s great, the atmosphere is brilliant. I have had the time with people to understand exactly how the equipment works. I’ve really enjoyed it.”

At the event, Epson launched their new SureColor range and sales manager of professional graphics at Epson, Phil McMullin, said it gives them the ‘opportunity to see a wide diversity of potential customers’, as well as describing the events as ‘relaxed but very informative’.

Visitors were able to have in-depth demonstrations from the service offset supplies team as well as the dozens of other products and equipment at the show.

The next Newtech event takes place in Glasgow on March 15th.
