Inktec’s first ever LED UV to debut at FESPA

Inktec has revealed that the world debut of its first ever LED UV printer will take place at FESPA Digital next month.

The Jetrix LX5 is Inktec’s solution to the increasing demand in the market for environmentally-friendly, energy efficient wide-format offerings. With up to 35 percent lower energy consumption, the LX5 boasts no warm up time, less heat created, and an increase in lamp life.

Ben Woodruff, head of national sales, explains: “At InkTec, we have long recognised the need for affordable LED technology within wide format printing and the launch of the JETRIX LX5 illustrates how the numbers now really stack up.

“The JETRIX LX5 ability to direct energy more efficiently and therefore reduce the overall power consumption, means that the total cost of ownership over its lifetime makes it a realistic and affordable option.”

The new model, equipped with Konica Minolta print heads, prints at up to 39sq m per hour, combining high quality with impressive speeds. The firm will also be demonstrating new InkTec made inks for the Mimaki JV300 at FESPA. Inktec managing director Joey Kim states that the model as well as the additional inks reflect ‘everything that Inktec stands for—quality, innovation, and assurance’.
