3M unveils ‘one-stop’ film

3M has launched what it claims is a ‘one-stop’ film for sign-makers that are keen on meeting an increased demand from customers for environmentally-friendly options.

Envision Print Film 48 is a non-PVC intermediate film that 3M says is suitable for applications such as indoor and outdoor signage, floor graphics, partial vehicle graphics and point-of-purchase displays.

The new product is printer compatible and can be used on solvent, UV and latex digital printers, while the manufacturer also says that it conforms well and is more tolerant than vinyl to higher temperatures for installation and removal.

The film 48 will be supplied with Gloss Overlaminate 8048G, which provides enhanced scratch resistance and UV protection.

Envision Print Film 48 is available in a choice of options, including permanent or removable adhesive, as well as with or without Comply and Controltac features.

The film can be ordered from William Smith ex-stock, as full, part or custom slit rolls, with same day despatch provided on full or part roll orders received up to 6.00pm.
