Celebrating 30,000 latex printers

HP has revealed that 30,000 latex printers have been installed around the world since their launch in 2008, calling the milestone a ‘phenomenal achievement’.

The Latex portfolio from HP consists of the 310, 330, 360, and 370 printers as a solution for customers diversifying into large-format production, while the Latex 3100 and 3500 are designed for high-volume production and working to short deadlines.

Joan Perez Pericot, worldwide marketing director for large-format printing at HP comments: “The versatility of the HP Latex technology has enabled our customers to pioneer into new high-profit applications such as interior decoration and target higher margin markets where customers are sensitive to using eco-solvent, solvent or UV-curable inks.”

HP describes its latex printing as ‘going even where solvent can’t, allowing wider application versatility and higher profit potential than eco-solvent’.
